HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Sales and Operations Allocation Analyst (S&OP) will be responsible for ensuring that inbound inventory is accurately aligned with demand orders to best support the organization’s On-time and In Full (OTIF) goals.  The S&OP Analyst will work within a team that provides input to the organization and implements decisions in matters surrounding allocation processes and rules, demand orders, demand constraints, using actionable reporting for all brands and for the US market. The role is responsible for planning, execution, and follow-up actions of regular meetings. This role is responsible for ensuring all guidelines are adhered to in the areas of inventory and demand. The S&OP Analyst will develop strong partnerships with cross functional teams within the organization. Candidates must be highly organized, have keen attention to detail, robust systems skills and strong analytical skills. This role reports into the Supply Chain teams based in our Atlanta office in our hybrid work environment.


Supply & Demand Matching - 70%
-    Assist with maintaining order file coverage through supply realignments and other allocation tools while balancing on-time to customer performance metrics
-    Identify customer early bookings and overbookings that are negatively impacting coverage and/or on-time performance metrics and distribute action items to appropriate channels 
-    Support quantifying impacts of major supply chain disruptions and factory shortages for dissemination to appropriate channels 
-    Support development and governance of new processes to support Carter’s next/gen transformation project including:
 -   Identifying scenarios where supply shortfalls or surpluses exist at a SKU level
 -  Reporting necessary to allow channel partners to determine priority accounts in supply shortfall situations

Communications & Reporting - 20%
-    Publish recurring reports to update cross-functional partners and supply chain leadership on coverage and on-time shipping performance          
-    Assist with ad-hoc analytics and reporting requests to support cross-functional partners as needed
-    Communicate effectively with sales, operations, OML and transportation/distribution to achieve customer service goals
-    Build and maintain relationships with appropriate cross-functional partners that will ensure cooperation, trust, and successfully meet departmental goals

Miscellaneous Activities - 10%
-    Execute the allocation and picking of work orders used to rework, repackage or transfer goods across distribution network
-    Collaborate with quality assurance team to provide demand detail and prioritization of inspection/reworked goods and manage style holds in order management system
-    Assist with conducting testing for order management system enhancements
-    Educate and train OML staff to be more self-reliant as necessary


Must have:
-    Ability to manage, plan, organize and execute detail-oriented responsibilities.
-    Effective problem-solving skills including decision making and time management.
-    Ability to work independently.
-    Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite and Business Intelligence Tools
-    Collaborative and team-oriented mindset 


Preferred skills and experience:
-    Previous experience in Supply and Demand Operations or Inventory Management preferred.
-    Bachelor’s Degree
