Carter’s diversity and inclusion (D&I) commitment ensures that our workforce reflects our diverse world through a range of programs to broaden diversity and ensure fairness across our global enterprise. We invest in D&I training across our retail stores, offices and Distribution Centers focused on unconscious bias.

Uplifting our communities
We believe in contributing to a better future for children, our communities and our world. We do this through Carter’s Cares, a corporate philanthropic program that focuses on helping children in need, with an emphasis on early childhood education.
B'gosh Jeanius Campaign
The B’gosh® Jeanius campaign supports DonorsChoose.org and Delivering Good through monetary and product donations.
All financial donations support DonorsChoose.org, an online charity that gives donors the opportunity to fund classroom projects across the country. Denim and product donations are distributed to children in need at various organizations through the Delivering Good network.
B’gosh Jeanius launched in 2014 and runs in-store and online during the Back to School season. Customers can make monetary donations to help children in need have a great back to school experience.
Pajama Program is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes and supports a comforting bedtime routine and healthy sleep for children to help them thrive.
They provide new pajamas and storybooks, sleep health education, and caring connections to ensure that children facing adversity—including low family income, housing insecurity, and family instability—have the tools they need for better bedtimes.
Carter’s has partnered with Pajama Program since 2009; it is the first and largest partnership of its kind. Each December, Carter’s runs an in-store and online campaign to collect monetary donations.
Annually, Carter’s donates over 100,000 pajamas to Pajama Program in addition to the funds raised by our customers during the holidays.
Light the Night
We have a long-standing relationship with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night (LTN) that is supported by employee-run fundraisers and annual LTN Walks. Carter’s has participated in the Atlanta Light The Night Walk since it began in 1999.
