How you’ll make an impact:

As an Analyst of Store Operations on the Retail Store Operations team, you will contribute to store labor forecasting and management by maintaining and improving operations via data analysis. This involves analyzing current labor dispersion and business forecasting data, conducting tests, proposing enhancements, and collaborating with internal partners to implement updates and gather feedback. This role reports to the Director, Store Labor Optimization, and is located in our Buckhead office 4 days per week.

  • 75%:  Provide meaningful recommendations for updates to store labor management through data:
    • Analyze, propose updates, and partner on key labor reporting, compliance metrics, and budgetary inputs, including (not limited to):
      • Fleet Operating Hours
      • Payroll hours use
      • Sales and workload trends
      • Test metrics and results
    • Provide ongoing labor budget analysis, identifying opportunities, and implementing changes to improve schedule efficiency
    • Partner closely with other internal partners to assist with strategic forecasting, modeling, and administration
    • Present proposed updates to key business partners and leaders and drive the successful execution of approved changes
    • Provide ongoing and ad hoc analytical support to the Retail Operations team
    • Provide insight and store-level perspective to business leaders
  • 25%: Support business leaders and field teams:
    • Serve as a key point of contact for Store Operations regarding labor compliance, forecasts, and testing
    • Communicate with store and field leadership as needed to gather data to meet project research goals
    • Work closely with team to develop and prioritize meaningful strategies for labor optimization in stores and gain feedback

Must have:

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Experience in data gathering, analysis, and visualization
  • Strong analytical skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Tableau
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Ability to be persuasive with details, facts and supporting data
  • Ability to appropriately challenge key financial/strategic assumptions, backing up point of view with thorough analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships throughout the organization
  • Demonstrated experience creating executive-level presentations
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced team environment with frequent deadlines

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience in retail or customer service is a plus
