how you’ll make an impact: 

As an Analytics and Reporting Co-Op at Carter’s, you will gain hands-on experience in data analytics and reporting within a fastpaced distribution center environment. You will collaborate closely with the analytics team to collect, analyze, and interpret operational data, contributing insights that support informed decisionmaking across the facility. This Co-Opship is ideal for individuals looking to strengthen both technical and professional skills while working on meaningful, realworld projects. 

 

  • Data Collection and Preparation:  Assist in gathering and organizing data from the warehouse management system and related databases. Clean, validate, and prepare datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency. 

  • Data Analysis:  Perform quantitative analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and operational insights. Partner with team members to develop datadriven solutions to business challenges. 

  • Reporting:  Develop clear, visually compelling dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau to communicate findings effectively. 

  • Documentation Maintain clear and organized documentation of SQL queries, data sources, and analytical procedures to support longterm usability and knowledge sharing. 

  • Collaboration:  Engage with crossfunctional teams to understand their data needs and deliver analytical support that drives operational improvements.

Must have: 

  • In pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as data science, business analytics, statistics or a related discipline 

Preferred skills and experience: 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets 

  • Proficiency in data acquisition, data manipulation, and data visualization tools 

  • Excellent problem solving and critical-thinking abilities 

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
