This role will report to the HK Senior Manager directly to work independently for all-round merchandising function:

Job Description
 

Product Development & Pre-Production Management

  • Manage related products development - market sample tracking, T&A management and provide sample options for meeting due dates
  • Understand product development process to allow effective negotiations with vendors and resolve development/production issues, ensure on time delivery and quality
  • Follow up with vendors on sample development/lab dips/graphic submission to meet due date
  • Collaborate with vendors, cross functional team and counterparts, engage people in different locations (e.g. HK & USA Offices)
  • Pre-production approvals management


Team & Data Management

  • Able to coach the team and lead them to achieve KPI’s
  • Data maintenance in different systems such as PLM, Intellimas to manage daily activities
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve vendor related issues at right time

?Job Specifications

  • University degree or above with at least 8 years’ working experience with 2 - 3 years as Assistant Manager level. Previous working experience in Brands or Buying Office is required
  • Solid experience in Knits baby products for US/Canada markets and knowledge on Sweaters will be a plus
  • Familiar with product safety requirements of baby/childrenswear
  • Well-organized, systematic, detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good problem-solving and influencing skills. Abel to work through and overcome issues independently
  • Capability to lead complex and demanding negotations with successful results
  • Proactive and open-minded to establish relationship with stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS office (Pivot table, v-lookup, power-point Excel and Word)
  • Good command of written and spoken English
