How you’ll make an impact: 

This role reports into a Merchant, Senior Merchant or Director and is based in our Buckhead office. 

40% Style Set up/System Management 

  • Utilize reports and systems to create hindsight decks and specialized business reports 

  • Manage FlexPLM inputs, understand complexities of database and impacts to other systems – ensuring data input is accurate and up to date  

25%: Strategy and Line Structure 

  • Lead business “deep dives” to support new strategy development and improve existing ones 

  • Partner with manager to develop and manage seasonal line structure   

  • Develop a strong understanding of the marketplace, recognizing trends and how they relate to our brand.  

  • Maintain awareness of the competition, understanding flow cadence, product assortment, and make/value equation 

  • Deliver selling recaps to cross-functional teams. 

20% Sample Management 

  • Assist in sample management, sample check-in, sample closet organization, and presentation set/clean up  

15%: Costing, Pricing, Margin Management 

  • Manage cost tools, analyze margins & deliver revenue goals based on financial plans 

  

We’d Love to hear from you if: (Requirements section) 

Must have: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in fashion merchandising, retail sales, or buying  

  • Strong knowledge of retail metrics to effectively analyze results across channels and markets  

  • Bachelor’s Degree required  

 

Preferred skills and experience: 

  • Proficient with Microsoft office Suite  

  • Strong product knowledge and presentation skills  

  • Detail-oriented and organized  

  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload
