HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
This role will serve as the marketing leader for Skip Hop baby gear & toys with overall responsibility across brand marketing strategy, go-to-market planning/execution, media, and social across Direct to Consumer and Wholesale channels. This role requires extensive collaboration across various departments including Brand Development, Creative, and Sales to develop brand and channel strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with our target audience.  
This role typically reports into the VP Marketing, Exclusive Brands, Wholesale, Skip Hop, & ESG and is based in our Buckhead office in our on-site 4 days/week work environment. 

40%: Brand / Retail

  • Brand Marketing Strategy: Develop annual marketing strategy and marketing calendar to drive brand awareness, traffic, and sales. Responsible for leading new product launches including developing marketing updates for key internal and external meetings. Collaborate with cross-functional partners on creative direction and content strategy to ensure Brand consistency across all communication touchpoints. 
  • Go-To-Market Planning & Execution: Accountable for marketing commercialization process including developing GTM launch plans for current and new products. Lead day-to-day campaign management and coordinate between creative and channel partners.  Ensure on-time completion of key milestones. 
  • Social: Lead brand influencer program to drive brand awareness and relevance across owned and paid social media channels. Oversee Social agency of record (AOR) to develop social strategy, product prioritization, calendar, and execution including community engagement. Ensure execution is timely and optimized based on performance signals and key learnings.  
  •  Paid Media & Earned Media: Partner with other Global Marketing peers (Demand Gen, PR) and external agencies to build paid and earned media strategy to drive successful brand/marketing outcomes and monitor performance.  

40%: Wholesale

  • Customer Marketing Strategy: Develop annual marketing strategy, lead media planning with retail media networks, and responsible for execution of annual marketing plan for key retailers like Amazon, Target, and Babylist. 
  • Sell-In Meetings: Develop sales/marketing content in partnership with Creative & Brand to drive excitement & demand for new product launches.

20%: Marketing Budget & Performance Reporting

  • Develop and deliver marketing performance presentations per quarter to key business stakeholders & leaders to demonstrate marketing impact. Lead ongoing media & performance optimizations based on data analysis that balance brand growth and marketing efficiencies. 
  • Manage multi-million-dollar marketing budget (paid media, content, agencies) to support marketing strategy. Responsible for budget forecasting and monthly reconciliation with finance business partners. 


WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing or brand management  
  • Highly collaborative team player to work effectively with cross-functional teams across Skip Hop and Carter’s 
  • Must be able to easily move between strategic initiatives to day-to-day tactical execution tasks 
  • Strong project management skills to support creative development, campaign development and other initiatives  
  • Strong understanding of digital/social media KPIs and brand heath/sentiment metrics 
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written skills with ability to influence and persuade at all levels 
  • Strong analytical ability to synthesize broad spectrum of business & marketing results into actionable insights 
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately while working toward multiple deadlines, with differing stakeholders 
  • Keen awareness of cultural trends, with ability to activate on cultural/real-time insights within campaigns 
  • Experience working with Retailer Media Networks (Roundel, WMC, Amazon) 
  • Experience working with outside agency partners and management of outside resources 
  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year accredited college or university in Marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated ability in developing and executing integrated marketing plans including social/influencer 

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Prior experience with consumer brands in retail and ecommerce, durables experience preferred
