The Controls Co-Op will be responsible for learning the foundational functions of the Controls team within a highly automated distribution center. The process for facilitating this learning will be a structured, hands-on approach in which the co-op is exposed to warehouse automation systems, industrial controls, and the technologies that support daily operations.
The Co-op will work closely with Controls Engineers and Maintenance Leadership to support system monitoring, troubleshooting, data analysis, and project initiatives focused on improving equipment uptime, system reliability, and operational efficiency. This role is based in our Braselton distribution center, an on-site work environment.
At the completion of the Co-Op, the Co-Op will have a strong understanding of how automated material handling and control systems (conveyors, sortation, ASRS, robotics, etc.) enable the flow of product throughout the distribution center and support overall system reliability and efficiency.

Partner with Controls Engineers and Maintenance Leadership on small projects such as system modifications, preventive maintenance improvements, documentation updates, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs, equipment documentation, schematics, and technical manuals to improve knowledge sharing and standardization.
Collaborate with operations, IT, and maintenance teams to ensure automation systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business needs.
