The Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, planning, and directing the distribution of goods within the warehouse to ensure the timely processing of customer orders.
This role typically reports to the Operations Supervisor and is based in our Stockbridge Distribution Center.
70%: Daily Operations
Ensure all department processes and SOPs are followed consistently.
Monitor and promote productivity and accuracy within the department.
Control distribution of orders within your department or area of responsibility
Responsible for enforcing housekeeping, safety and C-TPAT compliance in assigned area of responsibility; Stay within compliance of the company policies regarding safety.
30%: Support Functions
Support the Supervisor/Manager in all duties as assigned including all operational areas of the Distribution Center.
Assume supervisory responsibilities in department supervisor’s absence.
Serve as back up for Operations Trainer and conduct associate training and re-training as needed.
Communicate with Operations Leadership across shifts and departments to ensure the adherence of Distribution Center policies.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
We’d Love to hear from you if:
Basic knowledge of WMOS, including scanner tasks and functions.
Team player willing to perform various job duties to support the department and the facility objectives and key performance indicators.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on your feet for shifts up to 12 hours long.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others (Supervisors, Managers, and peers).
Flexibility to work overtime and comply with blackout periods (no vacation or personal time allowed) during peak periods.
Preferred skills and experience:
High school diploma or a GED preferred, not required.
At least six months in a distribution center environment preferred.
