HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
This leadership role will lead brand creative direction and development for our Specialty Brands portfolio including Carter’s Exclusive Brands, Skip Hop, ESG and Wholesale including Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, and Little Planet. Brand creative is inclusive of photography, eCommerce, digital media, packaging, video, in-store, and showrooms/tradeshows. This role will lead teams to create distinctive brand identities and experiences that holistically align the creative strategy to the brand and business needs to drive traffic, sales, and brand relevance.
Carter’s Exclusive Brands and Wholesale Creative (60%)
- Lead the creative strategy for each Carter’s Exclusive Brand (EB) to strengthen brand positioning and ensure cohesive brand experience across all customer touchpoints at Target, Walmart, Amazon including online, in-store, and packaging
- Direct quarterly photography shoots for each EB’s seasonal assortment from concepting/art direction to production (4x/year). Manage creative budget and streamline production to ensure efficient asset capture and usage for marketing needs.
- Oversee creative asset development for EB seasonal digital campaigns, including Carter’s wholesale marketing
- Oversee online Brand store design and brand content to support seasonal marketing strategy and eComm best-practices
- Oversee Carter’s wholesale signage creative to support seasonal strategy in stores (2x/year)
- Direct Carter’s showroom creative for key wholesale customer meetings (2x/year)
- Oversee sales meeting materials/toolkits development for key business meetings
Skip Hop Creative (30%):
- Lead the creative strategy for Skip Hop to strengthen brand positioning and ensure cohesive brand experience across all customer touchpoints in retail, wholesale, and international channels
- Oversee brand photography shoots for SH’s new products from concepting/art direction to production (4-6x/year). Manage creative budget and streamline production to ensure efficient asset capture and usage for marketing needs.
- Oversee retail creative asset development for omni-channel campaigns, including store signage as needed
- Oversee wholesale creative asset development for digital campaigns, online Brand Store, and eComm brand content
- Oversee international tradeshow creative development for booth design, digital catalog, and sales toolkits
Enterprise ESG Creative (10%):
- Lead creative strategy for company ESG brand "Raise the Future" to ensure cohesive branding across all customer touchpoints (stores, eComm, campaigns, packaging). Partner with Carter’s retail marketing to integrate into annual marketing calendar.
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:
- Must have experience leading a team across multiple leadership and creative skill levels
- Experience performing and managing a broad range of creative positions from brand, design, art direction, photography, production, and digital content
- Possesses stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Demonstrated innovation in variety of digital media formats
- Inspire creativity and work well with different personality types
- Successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative culture
- High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Semi-frequent travel required between Atlanta and NYC teams (1-2x per quarter)
- Local travel required for photo/video shoots and sales meetings
Preferred skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from 4-year accredited college or university, preferably in Graphic Design
- 10+ years of Creative experience, including 5 years of team management
- Strong knowledge of creative/advertising trends and tools
- Leading brand creative strategy preferred
- Must have experience leading a team across multiple leadership and creative skill levels
