HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Director of Raw Material & Trim Development is an experienced leadership role responsible for leading a team that builds and maintains a fabric, trim and print library and offers technical expertise for fabric & graphic printing during the development cycle.  This role typically reports to the Vice President of PDC and is based in our Buckhead office.


50% Strategic Development Process:
_    Proactively lead and manage the fabric, print & packaging teams through the development and pre-production processes.  
_    Effectively partner with Design, Art, TD & PI, balancing needs of style intent while managing CRI requirements for sustainability and the sourcing matrix.
_    Establish and maintain physical and digital fabric & trim library, identifying gaps and filling as business needs require.
_    Establish and maintain physical and digital print library for material & graphics, identifying gaps and filling as business needs require.
_    Understand and maintain the capabilities of our mills & factory partners, working with the Sr. Director of RM in CGS to inform PDC & Design in the development process.
_    Stay relevant with industry advancements and potential impacts to print services 
_    Identify training opportunities for all teams based on continuous learnings.


50% Product Management & Governance:
_    Work with Design, Art and Production Art teams to engage in reviewing all art (PPWK) before it is sent to CGS to proactively drive standards in development.
_    Bulk approval for all Western Hemisphere and licensed programs
_    Provide technical support and guidance to QA / PI with any failures related to RM or print as needed.
_    Provide solutions in the development process, removing roadblocks for the team.

20% Leadership:
_    Build a dynamic team capable of driving all aspects of fabric, trim, packaging & print development including selection and governance.
_    Grow and develop a world class team of professionals, set and achieve aggressive annual team goals and lead all aspects of the teams’ development including succession planning.
_    Lead & motivate direct reports & teams facilitating their development.
_    Foster commitment to teamwork and accountability.
_    Oversee team’s workload and accuracy of records.
_    Support global teams on providing commercial acceptability guidance when necessary.
_    Routinely perform external research to identify process improvements; be a champion for change


WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

_    10+ years industry experience in either Textile Manufacturing, Sourcing or Product Development
_    Bachelor’s Degree required, graduate degree preferred
_    Expert understanding of apparel design, fabric qualities, printing techniques, and product development activities.
_    Advanced grammar and communication skills; capable of interpreting and conveying international business concepts.
_    Advanced skills using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
_    Superior analytical and project management skills; ability to anticipate and proactively arrive at viable solutions.
_    Potential for domestic or international travel, up to 10%.
