How You’ll Make an Impact:

The eCommerce Fraud Coordinator will focus on analyzing and reviewing online transactions processed through Carter’s websites and mobile applications, enabling sales and mitigating fraudulent activity.

This role typical reports into Manager, eCommerce Fraud Prevention, has 0

direct reports and is based in our remote work environment.

Shifts: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday- Saturday, 1:30 PM EST- 10:00 PM EST

90%:  Transaction and Chargeback Review

  • Review orders held for manual review using fraud tools and decision-making skills to determine validity and mitigate fraud

  • Enforce Carter’s operational and fraud prevention policies

  • Review chargebacks to inform future fraud prevention decisions and strategies

  • Collaborate with Customer Service team to ensure smooth order processing and customer experience

  • Any other duties assigned by leadership

10%:  Fraud Strategy and Rule Development 

  • Identify fraud trends and patterns to provide useful insight for rule changes and present to eCommerce Fraud Manager

  • Disseminate best practices to team members and cross-functional partners as appropriate

  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work well as part of a remote team

  • Possess strong judgment, decision-making skills, detail oriented with strong follow through

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or a GED preferred

  • 1-3 years professional work experience, preferably in similar role

  • Direct experience with CNP fraud mitigation strategies and tools a plus

  • Call center, Retail and/or eCommerce experience is a plus
