HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
This role reports to the Manager, Finance Systems and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment.
While remote, this position requires applicants to live in the lower 48 states of the United States, and operate on EST hours (9-5 EST).
Role Breakdown:
(60%) Hyperion Technical Development and Administration
- This position is a vital part of the Finance team to define, lead and support the future strategic direction of the Finance System
- Responsible for Hyperion development and troubleshooting of Essbase ASO, BSO cubes, Hyperion planning, HFM and FDMEE
- Lead design of Planning/Essbase applications
- Develops and or administer DRM
- Analyzes requirements , procedures and processes to automate and improve current processes and procedures
- Troubleshoot maxl and batch scripts is a must
- Creates and modify complex rule files and business processes
- Builds FDMEE integrations with HFM and Essbase
- Develops and maintains planning forms, business rules, task lists, calculation scripts and reports to support business requirements for planning cycles and reporting goals in the Hyperion Planning
- Maintains and develops ETL routines, meta-data member updates, associated hierarchies (organizations, accounts) and mappings for various incoming data sources (Business Objects , HFM, spreadsheets, Essbase) and downstream reporting applications (SAP, Business Objects, Essbase) by leveraging FDMEE, load rules
- Create / modify, test and promote Planning/Essbase reports/scripts/data forms to meet the needs of the business
- Administration and accountability for IT support to finance/accounting function including break/fix, process improvement and innovation
- Troubleshoot client issues (i.e. SmartView, Essbase Excel Addin, Essbase, Financial Reporting, Workspace, Studio)
- Provides support and technical assistance to end users of Workspace and Smart view for Planning and Essbase / Reporting
- Responsible for the proper functioning of all Planning and Essbase applications, including all utilities and tools required to maintain the production and test environments
- Evaluate opportunities to integrate with SAP for Financial Data Quality Management and data accuracy and improve user productivity
- Lead the creation and execution of functional unit tests, regression tests, and system integration tests as part of project deliverables
- Lead and coordinate with development team(onsite, offshore and vendors) and monitor the progress of developing activities and provide updates to the stakeholders
(30%) Strategic direction setting, communication, relationship management
- Liaise with the cross functional finance business partners to understand the business strategy, and to define IT strategic & tactical initiatives supporting the business initiatives
- Work with the rest of the IT Finance organization to define and accomplish strategic and tactical initiatives
- Knowledge of Financial concepts and ability to translate them into the design of Hyperion applications
(10%) Security, Risk and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable change management processes and procedures including internal controls
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:
- 3+ years of strong experience with Business unit support, Financial Process Management, Analysis and creation of reports
- Proven knowledge in Finance Processes and systems (such as Hyperion, OneStream)
- Experience in HFM or OneStream or Anaplan finance modules, and interface integration points
- Technical knowledge to relate application process flows to underlying data structures, tables, integration points, data conversion, and technology processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or relevant area
