How you’ll make an impact: 

The Import and Reporting Analyst plays a key role in ensuring shipments are moving through the supply chain correctly to meet a target receiving date set by internal partners and is involved in daily decisions to maximize on-time performance while minimizing cost. This role also supports freight cost tracking, invoice review, budget support, and reporting accuracy, while partnering with finance teams. 

This role typically reports to Manager, Inbound Transportation, has 0 direct reports and is based in our Stockbridge, GA Distribution Center work environment. 

INTERNATIONAL INBOUND OPERATIONS (50%) 

- Coordinate and oversee daily transportation operations to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods 

- Partner with Planning/OML/Distribution/Finance teams (internal) and carriers/forwarders/transload/drayage providers (external) to align transportation execution with business goals 

- Monitor key transportation KPIs such as on-time performance, freight spend, carrier compliance, and service failures 

- Update internal transportation management system data to ensure accuracy 

TRANSPORTATION FINANCE (25%) 

- Support monthly close activities related to transportation spend, accruals, and variance analysis 

EXCEPTION MANAGEMENT (15%) 

- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated transportation issues, service disruptions, and exception management 

- Manage carrier relationships including day-to-day communication, performance monitoring, and issue resolution 

AD HOC REPORTING (10%) 

- Create reports and data analysis of supply chain events 

We’d Love to hear from you if:

Must have: 

- College degree majoring in international transportation/supply chain or 7+ years of experience in international transportation operations and/or global supply chain operations 

- Support transportation planning activities including routing, scheduling, capacity planning, and mode optimization 

- Familiarity with SAP and integration with transportation platforms 

- Assist in freight bid preparation, rate reviews, contract management, and vendor onboarding processes 

- Ensure accurate transportation documentation, billing, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements 

- Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives 

- Train, coach, and provide guidance to Transportation Coordinators or junior team members 

- Support peak season planning and contingency strategies to mitigate capacity or service risks 

- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel) (pivot tables, formulas, lookups); experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred 

- Communicate effectively both oral and written, and be able to work well in a group or individually 

- Ability to track, analyze, and report on international transportation KPIs such as transit time, freight spend, detention/demurrage, and service level performance 

- Operate in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Possess excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple daily tasks and projects 

- Strong problem-solving skills for resolving shipment delays, customs holds, documentation errors, and service exceptions 

- Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) with international shipping functionality
