How you’ll make an impact:
The Supervisor of Inventory Analytics is a dynamic leader responsible for guiding and developing a dedicated team of two inventory analysts to deliver exceptional strategic, operational, and financial outcomes for Global Inventory across Retail and Wholesale channels. This role focuses on fostering a high-performing Inventory Analytical team, driving robust data analysis, creating impactful data visualizations, developing innovative strategies, and leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance inventory accuracy and operational excellence.
This role reports into Sr. Manager, Global Inventory, has two direct reports and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment.
Reporting & Analysis - 60%
- Strategically Oversee Reporting and Analysis: Provide leadership in managing the reporting and analysis for Consolidated Global Inventory, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Champion Automation Initiatives: Guide the team in automating inventory reporting through Tableau, leveraging tools such as Warehouse Management, Omnia, RFID, and SAP to improve efficiency and visualization via dashboards
- Drive Inventory Accuracy Efforts: Lead cross-functional collaboration with the Asset Protection team to enhance retail inventory accuracy by managing the planning, implementation, and execution of programs designed to support Company objectives.
- Direct Critical Inventory KPI Reporting: Own the end-to-end process for monthly Inventory KPI metric reporting, maintaining rigorous oversight on data compilation and accuracy to enable insightful management actions. Continuously seek out additional metrics to deliver process improvements and added value.
- Facilitate Metric Improvement Meetings: Lead monthly KPI metric meetings to monitor progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and foster open dialogue on challenges and solutions.
- Oversee Investigations and Problem-Solving: Manage the activities of the Inventory Analyst team, ensuring comprehensive analysis, auditing, and investigation of all inventory transactions within stores and distribution centers. Provide leadership to implement systemic and operational solutions to address errors or inefficiencies.
- Lead interim and annual physical inventory count processes at all store locations. Manage all aspects of communication with Store Operations, Asset Protection, IT, and 3rd party technology provider to ensure 100% accuracy of count processes.
- Drive retail store shrink reduction efforts through thoughtful and actionable analysis and partnership with Asset Protection and Distribution Teams.
- Responsible for understanding the data and performance of RFID systems and the ability to identify any gaps or issues. Partner cross-functionally to develop and adopt solutions to increase inventory accuracy.
- Management of all RFID inventory reporting that will serve as the foundation for understanding inventory movements/changes, trends, shrink, and investigations to drive insight and increase store and distribution center level inventory accuracy.
- Support the Supply Chain initiative to implement RFID in US Distribution Centers. Understand overall project and impacts to Retail Channel. Determine synergies to support increased inventory accuracy.
- Responsible for leading other miscellaneous analysis and reporting and lead special projects as needed
Cross Functional Partnerships - 40%
- Partner with Stores, Finance, Store Operations, Planning and Allocations, Asset Protection, Transportation, and Distribution Center teams to improve the flow, accuracy, and validation of inventory to stores; execute changes as designed.
- Partner with Merchant teams on clearance inventory metrics and reporting by store.
- Work with Asset Protection, Allocations, and Transportation to ensure thorough investigation and resolution by team on missing cartons, negative on-hands, and other key inventory metrics.
- Partner with RFID team to continuously enhance understanding and develop best practices as it relates improving inventory accuracy.
- Work with Operations to ensure store level communications/directions/training instructions are accurate as it relates to inventory.
- Partner with IT to support the automation and enhancement of reporting and data driven analysis.

Must have:
- 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in a Data Analyst role.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting.
- Ability to develop and lead a highly analytical team.
- Tableau and SQL experience, along with advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to proactively leverage data to improve the business operations.
- Demonstrates independent, objective, and open-minded thinking with effective decision-making, time management, and task prioritization.
- Highly organized and self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills, maintaining a high attention to detail.
- Excellent team player with strong written and verbal communication skills, thriving in collaborative environments to achieve team goals.
- Experience working in merchandising systems and ability to learn new systems as needed.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Retail or inventory experience a plus.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
