Looking for your next leadership opportunity in IT? Carter's is hiring an IT Program Manager!
In this role, you will lead Carter’s IT strategic programs that enable business opportunities. Ideally, you will provide overall program leadership, guidance, and manages requirements and scope of the program. Leverage the expertise of the project managers and specialists from each functional team to ensure successful delivery of the solution, given the project constraints around committed timing and budget.
Define and lead strategy, implementation, operational planning/excellence, establishment, execution, and evaluation of multifaceted and cross-functional programs
Develop and manage program operating costs, requests budget allocation and reallocations to ensure our programs are within budget
Incorporate industry best practices, conduct internal and external benchmarking and establish standards, key measures, and metrics
Push for Integration and alignment with other processes and solutions
Lead organizational change management, defines roles and responsibilities, communications, compliance, solutions adoption, and training
Support executive decision-making, reports program and implementation status, identify skill gaps and initiate activities to close the gaps
Relay your strong understanding of the wider objectives of the program
Organize project teams comprising internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope, and timeline

Effective communication with high-level management.
Understanding of required technical and business requirements.
Effective "consultative" and influential approach, combined with an action-oriented passion for speed.
Successfully managed a large IT program.
Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff
Experience and willingness to work with a global team to leverage that comes with global diversity.
Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead to change.
7-10 or more years of demonstrated IT-related project/program management experience
Assorted duties and responsibilities:
Develops program budgets and forecasts, and serves as finance liaison to functional managers.
Ensure that all financial guidelines, rates, schedules, and formats are adhered to.
Strong technical orientation. Able to extract data and look at it through multiple viewpoints, for analysis.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements within the work area to management resulting in a reduction of expenditures.
