HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Manager, TA Operations is responsible for enhancing, optimizing and ensuring that our global recruiting systems & programs can efficiently and effectively scale to meet the unique needs of the organization. This leader will support the processes and programs that enable the hiring of ~15,000 employees globally.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition and is based in our Buckhead office with limited travel as needed.

40% TA System and Technology Ownership

  • Align TA systems and processes to support the growing global recruiting function.
  • Streamline day-to-day processes, driving consistency across the global team, and ensuring a data driven approach to talent acquisition.
  • Evaluate new TA technology options, make recommendations and lead implementation across functions and locations globally.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for TA technology, serve as main point of contact between Carter’s and TA technology vendors. Lead routinely scheduled meetings to review performance, troubleshoot errors and assess potential enhancements.
  • Business lead for Workday recruiting platform globally. Actively troubleshoot errors, in partnership with HR Technology team as needed, and conduct testing regularly for release notes. Evaluate potential enhancements and conduct testing and training as needed.
  • Own the TA page of the intranet and maintain data regularly.

25% Reporting/Audit and Compliance responsibilities 

  • Understand key recruiting metrics, their significance and how to derive them.  Produce and distribute recruiting metrics that monitor the overall health, performance and effectiveness of the global team and processes.
  • Own in partnership with legal and the HR Technology team action plans to make meaningful progress toward our AAP plans and diversity goals.
  • Ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance with country, federal, state and/or local laws, and company policies. Ensure all TA activities are compliant with the established sourcing, recruiting, and selection procedures including maintaining appropriate recordkeeping.

20% TA Process and Best Practice

  • Work collaboratively with HR and business leaders across Stores, DC and Corporate locations to improve best practices to ensure alignment and efficiencies across functions and locations globally
  • Define and document TA process and workflow
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements across recruiting programs and implement changes to keep them as effective and efficient as possible.
  • Facilitate new recruitment initiatives and complete special projects as assigned.

15% Employer Branding Strategies/Sourcing Strategies

  • Manage and lead the creation of an annual TA social media strategy and calendar to support hiring goals across Stores/DC and Corporate locations.
  • Execute branding strategies that position us an employer of choice across functions and locations globally.
  • Partner with the College recruitment team on Campus branding strategies to attract and engage a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Establish KPIs and ROI for investment in these strategies.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

  • A minimum of three years Talent Acquisition experience with a focus on talent acquisition operations, ATS tools, delivering HR analytics; metrics and reporting; and workflow documentation.
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
  • Experience in building comprehensive reports, dashboards, metrics and presenting recommendations. 
  • Experience working with HRIS teams and third-party vendors to resolve systemic issues, pursue enhancements and implement configuration changes.
  • Experience in social media and digital marketing.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, equal opportunity laws and other applicable federal and state regulations including, but not limited to EEO and OFCCP.
  • Effectively handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast paced environment while achieving staffing targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong command of Microsoft office suite.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, customer centric approach to collaboration.
  • Scrupulous attention to detail, able to develop and maintain highly organized work environment.
  • Proven ability to set priorities for self and direct report team; build checkpoints to assess and drive results.
