Job Responsibilities

• Mainly responsible for mechanical design, cover Toys products, infant feeding products, Home Gear products and other Juvenile products.
• Need High level design skills, 3D CAD skills to execute concepts to drawing.
• Proficient in Solidworks or Pro/E software, this is mandatory requirement.
• As job communication requirement, need to have good written English and at least basic oral English.
• Support New York design team, provide solutions to NY team for design execution, tooling solutions, manufacture solutions.
• Communication with New York Design team in daily basis, exchange ideas, comments, drive product to meet functions requirement, cost requirement, quality requirement.
• Need to have baby product quality mind set when execute design, consider test requirement in design.
• Need to have manufacturing knowhow, product design need to be efficiency for manufacturing.
• Technical support for Shenzhen local team, provide tooling expertize, product improvement solutions.
• Work with vendors to execute tooling debug, product debug, and testing failures improvement.

Job Requirements

Collaborative Relationship

• Maintain and keep on improving the good communication with internal departments, including superior leaders, quality team, logistics, shipping, sourcing, NYO team, etc.
• Good communicate with vendors as required to develop designs for quoting and production, continuously improve the communication skill and efficiency.

Qualification and others

• University degree in engineering
• Need Toys or juvenile production industry background.
• Minimum 5 years’ Experience in plastic toys design, or other juvenile product design. Knowledge in plastic injection, Hardware Knowledge, prefer experience in Infant/Baby toy industry.
• Capable to use Solidworks simulation for FEA analysis is preferred.
• Working experience in MNC is preferred.
• Good knowledge about related internal quality standard for toy & infant products, and different raw materials characteristics.
• Preferable PC Skills – Solidworks as a mechanical design tool.
• Good computer skill like Word, Excel, Power Point;
• Strong command of the English language including writing and speaking ability is must, able to communicate with US team,
• Familiar with electronic product will be a plus.
• Have relevant training will be a plus.
