Responsibilities

  • Develop samples & pre-production follow-up, communicating with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Track all samples & submission schedules including color, samples & test applications to ensure due dates & quality expectations are met.
  • Answer enquiries from buyers, vendors & other stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Handle data entry in internal systems (PLM, Intellimas etc)
  • Assist supervisor in preparing new developments for each buying season
  • Assist supervisor in daily merchandising activities, projects & other ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above preferably with a major in Apparel/Textile Engineering or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of work experience in the garment/ baby/ children wear field would be an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in buying/sourcing office. Understanding US market requirements.
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese including Mandarin. Good PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
  • Organized, good interpersonal and communication skills
