Responsibilities
- Develop samples & pre-production follow-up, communicating with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Track all samples & submission schedules including color, samples & test applications to ensure due dates & quality expectations are met.
- Answer enquiries from buyers, vendors & other stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Handle data entry in internal systems (PLM, Intellimas etc)
- Assist supervisor in preparing new developments for each buying season
- Assist supervisor in daily merchandising activities, projects & other ad-hoc tasks
Requirements:
- Diploma or above preferably with a major in Apparel/Textile Engineering or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of work experience in the garment/ baby/ children wear field would be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in buying/sourcing office. Understanding US market requirements.
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese including Mandarin. Good PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
- Organized, good interpersonal and communication skills
