HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Store Growth Initiatives, Operations and Inventory Management EDP is responsible for assisting in executing the company’s retail growth strategy across the U.S. and Canada, by supporting store openings, relocations, closures and remodels through project and inventory management.

This role reports into Manager, Store Growth Initiatives and is based in our Atlanta, GA office in our on-site work environment.

40% Project Management

  • Play a role in execution of store projects, including openings, relocations, and closures; ensuring successful projects from start to finish by collaborating closely with internal business partners and field teams
  • Collaborate across varying departments to help streamline operational decisions and timelines
  • Act as a point of contact for internal business partners and field teams, providing logistical support during store projects
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying trends to new or ongoing issues; partner with leadership to implement solutions to minimize disruptions and maximize revenue days
  • Assist in creating and refining project plans that align with company initiatives and strategic goals

40% Inventory Management

  • Support inventory allocation for new stores, relocations, and remodels, including preparing documentation and supporting field callouts
  • Ensure inventory ownership is balanced across store openings, relocations and remodels, considering sales volume, store type and capacity of each store
  • Aid in optimizing inventory levels for first 14 months post-opening, based on current performance and comparable stores
  • Handle inventory tasks associated with store closings, including managing inventory and coordinating strategies for liquidating or transferring inventory

15% Reporting and Communications

  • Track and report on task completion and project timelines to ensure successful outcomes and resolve any outstanding issues
  • Assist in running/creating recurring and ad hoc reporting to support store projects; summarizing and communicating findings
  • Act as a liaison to the field through proactive communication on all store openings, relocations, remodels and closings inventory and operational activities
  • Partner with field leadership to support inventory activities, including managing store closing transfers and new store inventory call-outs

5% Ad Hoc Store Operations Support

  • Provide support for various store operations projects, as needed, which may include reviewing processes, remodel stores project management, labor optimization, etc.

Must have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0(3.2 GPA or higher strongly preferred)
  • Required to have graduated within 6 months of class start date
  • Must be able to start in the role full time by June 2025

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including foundational knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with varying business partners
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive business decisions and actionable results
  • Experience in retail or customer service is a plus
