  • Factory Product Safety process control:

    ·     Conduct Product Safety Management practices, like Factory Safety Audit, across Carter’s Vendor base to ensure products and processes are compliant to the best practice and process standards expected, reacting quickly to manage any safety concerns.

    ·     Implement and support vendor management related to onboarding program and manufacturing capability.

    ·     Review products for potential compliance concerns.

    ·     Support the cooperation model with component suppliers in order to standardize the process control in production.

    ·     Support and manage the remote countries for Product Safety activities.

    Factory Product Safety Officer development

    ·     Communicate with the factory to identify and offer the dedicated Product Safety Officer to cover their factory activities.

    ·     Coordinate with HK Team to offer the regular PSO training to develop the PSO competency.

    ·     Review and approve the PSO report in regular basis.

    ·     Analyze the report data to suggest the proper training process.

    ·     Conduct the monthly PSO meeting to enhance the awareness.

    ·     Support in conjunction with the Sourcing, Component supplier and vendor for product safety feedback.

REQUIREMENT

-     A minimum of 3 years with Quality Assurance or Product Safety Management in garment, apparel. Experiences with kid wears is an advantage.

-     Bachelor degree with a focus in apparel, textile engineering / Chemistry, or other industry-related field.

-     Knowledge of tools and methodologies of QA/QC.

-     Experience audit procedures and collaborating with vendors, testing laboratories and third party sourcing agents.

-     Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

-     Capable of creating and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

- Fluent in English - both spoken and written.
