Essential Job functions (Tasks, duties and responsibilities most important to get the job done)

As Quality Assurance Auditor your job will conduct quality audits consisting of workmanship, packaging and metal audits. You may be called on to conduct or assist with rework projects.

      DC Quality Operation and Execution (100%)

  • Locate QA audits in Distribution Center and relocate to workstation
  • Pull style folder with style information using multiple systems (FlexPLM, Omnia, Excel)
  • Accurately conduct quality audits which includes inspecting and measuring incoming product using written SOP’s.
  • Use Inspectorial Auditing System to record audit findings.
  • Conduct metal audits using metal detector as required.
  • Understand defect classifications and record defects in QA system.
  • Recognize safety manual topics when performing audits.
  • Locate pallets using RF scanner.
  • Perform any additional work or projects assigned by the QA Supervisor or Coordinator.

SUPERVISORY / BUDGETARY / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

  • Reports to Quality Assurance Supervisor.
  • No budgetary responsibilities.
  • You may be called on to communicate with Atlanta QA team.

secondary functions (IF APPLICABLE - ANY DUTIES NOT CONSIDERED ESSENTIAL)

  • Participate in Quality Assurance process improvement projects.
  • Occasionally support DC Operational projects as assigned or at peak times.

knowledge, skill and ability requirements (minimum competencies required for job performance)

  • Proficient written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficient computer and equipment skills.
  • Skilled at multi-tasking, data entry and the ability to react quickly to frequent priority needs.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, analytical skills.

Prior work experience and educational requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in apparel, production, or distribution setting is helpful but not required.

physical demands

  • Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in varying to extreme temperatures.
  • Must be able to work consecutive days in a row during critical business times.
  • Comply with Blackout Periods as determined by Management.
