Job Duties

Raw Materials (Mills & Trims Suppliers) Process Control

  • Manage Mill Audit Program to ensure fabrication and processes are compliant to the best practice
  • Roll out mill onboarding process across countries
  • Drive raw material suppliers improvement process
  • Manage testing laboratory accreditation program for fabric mill
  • Manage component test program for trims suppliers and garment vendors
  • Analyze and highlight capability concern and implement CAPAs
  • Create and launch mill scorecard to mitigate the risk

Raw Material Testing Compliance

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders n raw material test requirement
  • Provide technical consultation for fabric and trims at development stage
  • Review raw materials failure and provide guidance to internal parties
  • Conduct failure investigations / CAPAs on raw material testing failure and mitigate risk
  • Review mills and trims suppliers’ test performance and provide action plan to improve the performance
  • Create and maintain supplier KPI

Washing & Printing Facilities Process

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to conduct audit / technical evaluation to the laundry & printer and build capability matrix

Product Risk Assessment

  • Review potential product compliance concerns, communicate with internal stakeholders and recommend for action plan

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 10 years working experience, minimum 2 years in a similar management capacity in buying / sourcing offices focused on USA and Canada markets in baby / kids wear
  • Knowledge of tools and methodologies of fabric production
  • Experience in implementing process and procedures, collaborate with fabric mill and 3rd party sourcing agents
  • Experience in addressing and implementing regulatory requirements
  • Advance skills using MS applications
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English & Mandarin
  • Willing to travel when required
