How you’ll make an impact:
The Senior Analyst - Inventory Management is responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a team of Analysts responsible for successfully optimizing inventory in all stores to support sales, margin, and inventory turn goals. This role typical reports into Sr. Manager - Inventory Management, and is based in our Atlanta, GA office in our hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities include:
- 60%: Lead a team of Analyst to execute and support Retail Inventory Management objectives
- Manage and coach a small team of analysts with a development-first mindset
- Ensure the successful execution of inventory allocations for each item multiple times per week
- Analyze store inventory down to the style / size level in order to provide recommendations on how to shape strategies and improve retail inventory quality
- Manage unit forecasts to accurately plan labor for DC and Store teams to support shipment volume
- Partner with planning team to ensure inventory levels are appropriate to support sales builds, promotional cadence, and inventory strategies
- Support the buying team define strategies for future buys, providing guidance on ideal store unit depth and store assortments to optimize inventory productivity for future buys
- 20%: Support the entire Inventory Management team by coordinating team-wide processes
- Lead processes to launch the monthly initial merchandise floor-sets, ensuring all teams are aligned on the store level approach
- Review systemic rules to ensure that our tools and systems are appropriately set to match the team’s strategic intent
- Lead trainings across the entire team to Analyst team understand retail concepts and are well equipped on how to execute our strategies
- 20%: Lead strategies across the broader Retail team to support their growth initiatives
- Proactively uncover opportunities to improve processes, create efficient tools, and build user-friendly reports
- Build and present executive ready presentations and written reports
- Provide ongoing and ad hoc analytical support to the Retail Senior Leadership Team

Must have:
- Retail Inventory Management experience (Buying, Planning, Allocation)
- Analysis driven, intellectual curiosity, high attention to detail
- Strong communication to strengthen partnerships across the business
Preferred skills and experience:
- 3+ years experience in inventory, retail or a related field
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc)
- Experience in diagnosing, isolating and resolving complex issues
- Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
- Creative and customer focused; ability to develop practical yet innovative solutions
- The ability to prioritize effectively for yourself while balancing feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in developing strong relationships with all levels of the business
- Ability to lead courageously - not afraid to speak frankly, offer new ideas, take calculated risks, and support positive change
- Ability to synthesize and communicate results clearly and effectively
- Energetic self-starter who thrives in situations with ambiguity
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Retail store experience and/or knowledge of distribution and replenishment systems a plus
