HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Senior Retail Creative Operations Manager has the job of organizer but also the role of advocate for the Retail Creative and Visual teams helping to manage expectations and anticipate challenges. Responsible for maintaining brand aesthetics and on-time delivery for both external and internal campaigns and special projects. The position is accountable in leading procurement for our POS/POP materials for our brick-n-mortal stores, corporate and wholesale accounts. Key drivers for the position are organization, productivity, and versatility. You will lead, guide, and inspire your team as well as internal and external partners/agencies to meet and exceed business and marketing objectives.

This role reports into our Director, Production, will manage 1 direct report and is based in our Buckhead offices in our hybrid work environment.

Budget Management - 25%
- Manage In Store Marketing budget ($2.2M) all related invoices and expenditures for the following:

  • In-Store Communications
  • Fulfillment - Website, Warehousing
  • New Store & Event Marketing

Operations Planning/Management - 45%
- Manage day to day operations and schedule of projects including: 

  • Dedicated to creative and visual store ops collaboration and alignment 
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners scheduling deliverables and set realistic deadlines for artwork release and final delivery for all CRI brands, Corporate and Wholesale accounts
  • Quality control (Internal and External partners)
  • Visits stores as needed to monitor, obtain store feedback and to assess overall implementation
  • Project management; participation in meetings with creatives and projections with finance
  • Streamline workflow and create exception processes when appropriate
  • Continuously research Best-in-Class vendors, technology, trends, value-engineering, and sourcing of materials

Task Management - 30% 
- Unified leader, ensuring that reviews, approvals, final approvals, and all deliverables are fulfilled by establishing checkpoints throughout workflows
- Coordinate cross functional partner kick-offs & touch bases/follow-up meetings
- Manage New Store Openings, Closings, Warehousing & Retail Only Inbox

  • Store Opening, Closing, Conversion Kits
  • Inventory Report & Management
  • Fulfillment Site
  • Ship notification & Profiling
  • Fixture Re-allocation

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

Must Have:

  • 5+ years print and substrate materials knowledge base
  • 5+ years of budget management experience; Including budget, and metrics and utilization reports
  • Experience managing aspects of retail in-store creative operations
  • Experience organizing and managing creative ops team across a diverse set of cross-functional partners
  • Experience driving projects to completion in a fast paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Expert at problem solving, with the ability to identify and articulate alternative solutions when changes arise. Manage day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of production challenges
  • Knowledge of budget planning, coding and invoice management and Accounts Payable basics
  • Highly organized with an eye for detail
  • Strong analytical focus; problem solver, critical thinker
  • Proven track record to manage a budget, strong negotiator and find solutions to keep projects efficient
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to ask questions and promote communication flow within cross functional teams to establish processes, unify efforts and increase efficiency
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills, and self-motivated, flexible with a positive attitude
  • Manage, mentor, and lead creative ops team, prioritizing mentorship and coaching through feedback
