How You’ll Make an Impact:
CRI is seeking a Social Media Specialist with an expertise in content creation and low-fi video production to support current and emerging platforms for the most trusted children’s brands in the US.
As a core team member, this candidate will be responsible for creating and analyzing engaging social content that builds brand trust and awareness among the next generation of parents. The ideal candidate for this role must be passionate about social media, obsessed with Tik Tok, and have a strong understanding of what it takes to create break-through content. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Public Affairs and Social Media.
Core Responsibilities
Leverage social tools and platforms to uncover parenting insights, and emerging cultural and social trends to inform content creation
Leads content development through collaboration with CRI in-house creative team, external brand ambassadors/creators, influencers, and external agency partners (~10-20 unique pieces of content per week)
Creates and presents weekly social strategy to leadership and reports results weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
Briefs in-house teams-studio, copy, merchandising, design and others-to produce expert-led content that builds awareness and trust in CRI brands
Maintains social brand presence across all brands/platforms-profiles, links, banners, shops, highlights as well as a consistent social voice and tone

Must have:
Culturally dialed-in social native - lives and breathes TikTok Culture
Proven experience with ideating and producing social media content
Must have successfully managed and prioritized multiple projects with competing deadlines; must be able to allocate time and resources accordingly
Must have excellent content development skills, with experience managing feedback from multiple stakeholders
Must have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners; strong collaborator
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Highly prefer BS/BA degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Hands-on team player fluent in the fundamentals of social media and content creation
