Sr. Analyst, Growth Initiatives – RFID & Omnichannel

How you’ll make an impact:
The Sr. Analyst, Growth Initiatives – RFID & Omnichannel is responsible for total ownership of RFID & Omnichannel Inventory system from operational excellence to strategic planning of the future roadmap for North America. This highly cross functional role is critical in ensuring accurate order and inventory flows to all areas of the business including Retail Stores, eComm, Distribution Centers, Finance and Inventory Control. This role reports into Sr. Manager, Retail Growth Initiatives and is a hybrid role based in our Atlanta, GA office.
35% Strategic Roadmap for RFID & Omnichannel
- Own and Prioritize the RFID roadmap using feedback from retail store leaders and the distribution centers
- Keep continuous pulse on market research and cutting edge RFID & Omni capabilities to influence Carter’s Roadmap; build business cases to determine cost/impacts
- Assess level of effort and impact to prioritize and plan quarterly enhancement roadmap
- Partner with Nedap and internal IT teams to develop and test enhancement features prior to deployment to the field or DC
- Lead change management process for each new enhancement; partner with Store Processes team on training materials and updating any impacted process
- Build comprehensive project plan, SOP, and timeline for each enhancement to ensure timely execution of milestones from home office and store teams; Create compliance process to track execution
- Communicate updates and any potential crossover dependencies with store operations team (Change in Store Processes, Facilities needs, Supplies Needs, etc)
- Own Communication, Training and Change Management with Regional, DM and field teams
35% RFID Operational Excellence
- Own and oversee RFID & Omni operational excellence in Retail stores and the Distribution centers for US and Canada to ensure weekly counts, shipment scans and other functions are completed successfully
- Recurring and ad hoc reporting to ensure operational excellence and compliance; summarize and communicate findings, insights and reporting to leadership
- Assess total CRI business decisions, communicate impacts to store/DC and lead project plan for proactively solutioning (ie, eComm RFID Tagging, Wholesale RFID needs, etc)
- Support continuous optimization of RFID & Omni processes across all business units
- Own any issues that arise, including but not limited to, omnichannel logic, app / back-end technology, tag/chip issues, process concerns, discrepancies with inventory control, etc.
- Proactively communicate possible business / operational risks as well as potential solutions to leadership
- Strong collaboration with the product packaging team and supplies team to ensure RFID Tags and stickers are aligned with our standards and ensure no overlap in EPC from different suppliers
- Maintain strong relationship with third party software vendor, Nedap, and other retailers in the industry (Auburn RFID Lab, Under Armour, Lululemon, etc)
30% Cross Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the point person for all RFID or inventory related conversations or enhancements across Retail, Wholesale and Supply Chain
- Project Manager of any Retail facing RFID & Omni enhancements and liaison between IT, Inventory Control, eComm/ Omnichannel, Retail Stores, Product Packaging, etc
We’d Love to hear from you if:
Must have:
- 2+ years of experience in a highly collaborative role with a deep understanding of inventory management (ie; Project Management, Retail Allocations, Planning, or a related field)
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Proficient in developing strong relationships with all levels of the business
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc)
- Naturally curious and eager to learn
- Communicate results clearly and effectively
Preferred skills and experience:
- RFID knowledge, Retail store experience, and knowledge of distribution and replenishment systems
- The ability to prioritize effectively
- Energetic self-starter
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
