Job Duties
- Assist Manager in factories sourcing and support costing exercise
- Prepare new development for each buying season
- Drive costing with vendors, obtain and negotiate cost with vendors in a timely manner
- Proactively lead the daily execution of merchandising activities to achieve price, quality and product safety
- Monitor and supervise Merchandiser on order follow up, resolve production issues, ensure on time delivery and quality can meet the requirements
- Maintain and develop relationships with vendor
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve on time approval
- Liaison with functional team to resolve potential issue before production
- Train and coach Merchandiser to upgrade product knowledge, merchandising skills and overall effectiveness
- Lead and successfully deliver projects assigned
- Any ad hoc tasks
Job Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above in Apparel/Textile or related discipline with at least 8 years’ work experience in garment field, preferable in children wear for USA buying office
- Familiar with US / Canada market requirements
- Experience in PLM is an advantage
- Proficient in MS office (Excel (pivot table, vlookup), powerpoint / word)
- Good command of written & spoken English & Mandarin
- Well-organized, systematic, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good collaboration and strong communication skills
