HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Routing / Dispatch supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of inbound and outbound shipments by overseeing all routing and dispatch functions. This role is vital in meeting service level agreements through timely order processing, coordination with key partners, and real-time problem resolution. By driving performance, optimizing workflows, and supporting peak volume strategies, the supervisor helps maintain operational excellence and a seamless customer delivery experience. 
This role typical reports into Manager, Wave / Routing.  This role is in our Braselton DC with occasional need for night/weekend/holiday hours.  This role leads and develops at least 5 routing / dispatch admins across all operating shifts. 


Routing Functions (50%)
?    Ensure customer orders ship within defined SLA. 
?    Daily routing of customer purchase orders.
?    Daily updates of the ship via on all return routing.
?    Manage routing to the specific and changing requirements of each account.
?    Accountable for orders from printed status to shipping status.  
?    Track and report employee productivity.
?    Daily communications with Order Processing and Processing engines to determine optimum routing date.
?    Daily communications with OML to report routing issues, explain past cancel shipments, and obtaining ship window extensions.
?    Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success of all process and system implementations. Monitor post-implementation performance and recommend improvements as necessary.
?    Continuous Improvement: Provide ongoing support and recommendations to optimize DC systems post-implementation. Identify opportunities for additional system features or improvements based on operational feedback.
?    Contingency Planning: Identify and develop operational contingency plans and workarounds to support continuous flow of good during project implementation


Dispatch functions (50 %)
?    Responsible for the timely reporting/delivery of accurate data daily and end of month reporting. 
?    Responsible for opening and closing loads, daily routing of purchase orders, and printing all required paperwork and maintaining accurate tracking information.
?    Accountable for orders from printed status to shipping status.  
?    Maintain optimal workflow and safety of assigned area.
?    Partners closely with outbound transportation to address all equipment and service needs.
?    Develop contingency plans to address peak shipping volumes. 
?    Align daily needs with the flow of the building each day, ensuring all loads have been shipped.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

?    Skilled at multi-tasking and able to react quickly to frequent priority shifts 
?    3+ years of supervisor level experience with a preference of 1-3 years in the apparel distribution area.
?    Proven leadership ability (focus on being proactive, leading/driving change, repeatedly achieving given goals, motivating people, coaching/developing people and being a good follower - disagree and commit).
?    Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications 
?    Knowledge of hand (RF) scanners and experience using WMOS 
?    Use mechanized equipment as needed 
?    Proficient communication skills both written and verbal 
?    Ability to work in a distribution center environment, working overtime and holidays as needed.  Ability to lift/carry cases intermittently and ability to standing/walk for long periods with varying temperatures.  
?    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
?    Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative

Preferred skills and experience:
?    BS/BA degree in a related field, preferred.
?    Prior experience in automated distribution center is preferred.
?    Must be available to work in a multi-channel, multi-shift, high volume distribution environment.
