Responsibilities

  • Work with trims suppliers and internal counterparts to establish first approval and duplication trims standard based and costing record for all trims items.
  • Review the related compliance document of trims suppliers, for example oeko-tex certificate, and work with related parties including Sourcing and Product Safety and Compliance Team to make sure trims are compliant to company’s requirements.
  • Evaluate bulk shipment quality received from suppliers, vendors, or internal parties, when necessary. Review and report to Manager on any failure in inspection/testing reports.
  • Work with CSG teams to ensure trims can meet design’s aspiration on color and quality
  • Maintain the physical trims library in Hong Kong and the digital format trims matrix of both branded and non-branded trims
  • Assist Manager to on-board new trims suppliers by providing support in process administration, quality guidance and cost approval.

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in business discipline or engineering
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in trims (zippers, buttons, metal trims, packaging & labelling etc) , preferably in buying office or MNC.
  • Understand testing, safety standards and inspection procedures
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills s
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
