HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Carter’s Intern Program is a formal 11-week summer program for current college students offering the opportunity to gain corporate experience. As a participant, you will contribute to meaningful projects as a key member of our Wholesale team, network with senior business leaders, and receive specialized professional development. We are looking for an applicant dedicated to driving data accuracy through high standards, attention to detail and analytical thinking.
This role typical reports into the Account Executive, and on-site, 4 days a week.
40% Assist with Customer Order Management
- Partner with account executive and OML team to oversee and enhance efficiencies with the account order files
- Main point of contact for accounts regarding shipping, extensions, price errors, early bookings and bulk confirmation
- Consumes and translates all slides, fall out and order file changes to accounts including post sell in style changes
- Coordinates with OML and account to ensure execution, follow up etc.
20% Support Ecomm Data Management
- Manage ecommerce specific data requirements with both internal and customer teams
- Consolidate and format ecommerce data, including style level attributes for the customer to accurately feature our brand
- Facilitate and manage the ecommerce image process from internal sources to account specific formats and/or destinations
20% Assisting with Reporting
- Run, format, and analyze predefined system reports in support of account executives and senior management
- Work closely with account executives to discover and implement reporting tool enhancements
- Respond to account advertising requests for samples
10% Providing Sell-In Prep and Support
- Support prep of sell in decks, organize by buyers and send updates to each account
- Communicate any style changes (creative, drop, cost/retail change) to each account
10% Special Projects
- Prepare both regular and ad hoc analysis and reports for management as requested
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year institution
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and advanced PowerPoint skills
- Proven written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Established experience in collaborating with internal and external partners
